My first HCG level was at 181 & two days later it went up to 280. I had two perfect high quality blastocysts transferred. I'll be going back on Wed to have my levels checked again. So, the rate of increase in hCG levels normally varies as a pregnancy progresses. hCG that does not double every two to three days does not necessarily indicate a problem with the pregnancy. My thyroid was weird so the doctor and ran another test two day later with another beta. It was 519 exactly 50 hours later. Not double, but more than 60%.
